Making my way through Mag Earwhig! this morning. It's actually the first GBV record I bought when it came out, and weirdly because I liked Cobra Verde. Senior in college, I think. My roommate came home from his radio show one afternoon complaining about the "slop rock" that was taking over college radio. I fell in love. Full disclosure - I was a quintessential slacker in the mid to late 90s. In fact my wardrobe has barely progressed beyond old jeans, haphazardly laced sneakers, 20 year old t-shirts, and a hoodie if it's chilly. I might break out a jersey polo shirt if we're going somewhere nice.

Indeed. Have I ever seen yours? I still need to do some honest to God photos of mine, but I still have the center console ripped out trying to get my new-old stock stereo system installed, and repair some of the paint damage after letting the hood slip under the front lip while adjusting the panel gaps. And patch the seats. And get the correct window seals. Work in progress man... I've renamed my car La Sagrada Familia.
